How Delightful
I popped into Via Delizia to grab a late afternoon lunch where I was delighted to find friendly staff, several appetizing paninis, decent wine selection and gelato.
Despite it being mid-afternoon on a weekday, there was a consistent stream of customers coming in and it seemed the owner knew all of them. Whether he did or not, it's always lovely to see someone passionate about treating your customers well.
I ended up selecting the Toscano with Field Greens and paired it with a glass of Vermentino, a perfect combo for a sunny afternoon. I'll have to visit again to try the gelato.
