Double Double Mountain Mountain
It was one of those beer and pizza type days. Warm, sunny, blue sky day that required a chill location with outdoor seating for a girls get together. Enter Double Mountain Brewery. Several of us had been to the Hood River, Oregon location so knew this group would enjoy the food and beverage options. I had tried to visit the new Portland location early in it's opening days but it was so popular the wait time was more than my hunger levels were ever going to allow. But now, on a random Thursday, right after the normal 8 - 5 work day, we scored a table outside to enjoy our food and beverage.
The menu consists of pizza, salads and sandwiches. I opted for the Jersey Pie which had a nice thin, crunchy crust and some spiciness! I offset the spice level with a cold pint of light German Ale (Kolsch).
Great beer, good food and relaxing location. I'd stop in again for another pint!
