Oh My, Shepard's Pie!
Where does one venture to when a craving for Shepard’s Pie comes on? We head to Kell’s. After trying a variety of Shepard’s Pies around the city and me not wanting to create this dish at home (I did once for St. Paddy’s day, and although it turned out quite well, it took me longer than it should… so as of now we go out!). I feel the Shepards Pie here is exactly what I would expect of the classic dish: beef, carrots, peas topped with the perfect creamy potato crust. We also tried the Banger's & Mash which included more potatoes and a side of the house pickles.

There are 2 locations in Portland. I always prefer the original, Old Town location.
