Aug 30 Weekend Wine Adventure

Looking for a day trip get away that involves beautiful views, wonderful wine, and great conversation? Head to the Dundee Hills.

This was a girls day adventure and we were looking to spend some quality time with each other; chatting, relaxing and sipping wine. Since the pace for the day was a bit slower, we had two stops on our route: Stoller Family Estate and Domaine Serene. They are less than a 10 minute drive from each other and offer amazing views of nature and architecture.

At Stoller we were able to snag a seat outside on a bustling sunny weekend while sampling their rose, chardonnay, resiling, and pinot ($15). Next we were onto Domaine Serene were we sat inside (outside seating was full) and enjoyed the estate tasting of rose, chardonnay and pinot ($20) while checking out the clubhouse and tasting room.

Post wine tasting we stopped for a late lunch/early dinner at La Sierra Mexican Grill
